From your buddies to the top teachers in the game putting instruction has very little consistency, and in many cases, it is downright contradictory. Players and coaches have been successful utilizing conflicting techniques, goals and feels so it’s nearly impossible to know which things to focus on. On the equipment side of the house, the golf industry has been plagued by some major misunderstandings of simple physics and worse, marketing agendas from the big brands have leaked into popular fitting and instruction standards. I have made it my mission to learn EVERY aspect of putting technique and equipment design in modern golf and organize the information into simple categories to help golfers choose the technique that make sense and then build your equipment to match your strategy.
